Day 5 VN trip
So now im bac at the 1st hotel...
in HCMC.
i didnt hav the time to post yesterday coz...
we had a french meal..and well...it took 2.5 hrs
so by the time we were bac at Novotel...it was too late
and we had to get up early, coz the bus ride i pretty long.
YESTERDAY:
it was another sight-seein day yesterday..
we went to a flowergarden..but everybody decided not to go..
so we juz took some pics outside..
then we went to the 'sigh lake' .. sth like tht...
and we had a go on the horse cartridge..?
lik Cinderella. it went round and it was bumpy?
the flowers thr were really nice
umm..roses..and some others..
so it was said to be a natural lake..
ok... dotz..
so, we went to an old railway station
which still works
and more photos..
thr was also the Bao Dai's Summer Palace..
juz some other grand place for the king...and its family..
i dun really rmb when and whr we had lunch..but i rmb wat i ate..
but nvm abt it..
so we also went to a monastrey and thr was also a lake nearby..
but we didnt go down thr..
thr was a cable car..but thn ppl didnt wanna take it.
so we juz left it..
so we also went to see a waterfall..
we had to walked down..and it was really nice and refresshin and coolin too! =)
thn we took this thing bac up..takin it down would be much more fun..but thn..ya.
and thn it was bac to the noisy streets..
whr we had a french-ish aftnn tea
coffee with fresh milk..! :P
well..the environment was like it..
the coffee was like it..
juz tht the view wasnt tht nice..
motorbikes on the streets..was too noisy..
not the kind of relaxin and peace i was imagin to hav.
so thn came the market and shoppin again..
and before we knew it..it was time for dinner.
so we went to Sofitel Palace..or sth
whr it was frenchy and the hotel was really big and artistic...
so we ate in this room with art pieces everywhr and candles with roses on the table..
and thrs also a guy playin the piano outside in another hall
so it was nice but WAAYYYYY too full..
we had a set?
i had 2 1/2 bread..coz i was too hungry so i had to stuff food into my stomach..
thn came starters? some snail-lik things..and thn veg. soup X(
and thn my aunt was talkin abt how to eat and things..
and thn it was some pate? which was really sweet...and some sorbet to clean our mouths and its taste buds.
and thn it took a while for the main course to arrive..
but by thn..i was already kinda full..prehaps not kinda..but VERY fulll...
so i couldnt eat already..but the salmon juz tasted so gd..tht i couldnt resist its temptations
so i was actually stuffin food in up to the brim..
but i managed to finish it so tht it wouldnt be a waste. ^-^
thn came the cheese platter.
thr were 5 kinds of cheese..and 1/2 a biscuit
so i tried out all the types of cheese..
even th0ough it stinked and tasted a BIIT horrible
its a first-time exp.
and last but not least..the dessert..
which was another sorbet to 'clean' the mouth and thn some banana thingy
but i didn finish..
i actually quite enjoyed my time thr..even though it wasn good..not the food..but..juz way too full
but it was a good french meal exp.
